Chifumo of Sambesi Waters
Born on 11 October 2001, passed away on July 17, 2009
“Chifumo” stems from the kennel belonging to Susanne and Edgar Heckelsmüller from the beautiful part of Germany called Allgäu. His ancestors on his father’s side were true Africans, which was obvious. One needed consistent leadership for his wild strength and his rooted prime instinct. He captivated people with his beauty interacting with his powerful presence and his deep auburn colour. What a wonderful companion! At only 8 years of age, he was the first of my Rhodesian Ridgebacks who I had to let go over the rainbow bridge. Saying goodbye was a very painful experience to me. Chifumo, you remain unforgotten, your place is in my heart.
